The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer. – Nolan Bushnell
Just wondering how we can help break down international trade barriers that have in most instances stifled micro economic dynamics.
Economies will grow and poverty will be alleviated if these barriers are brought down.

Tucked away in some obscure remote part of Kenya, East Africa, is news that has hit headlines around the globe.
Finally the search for oil in northern Kenya has born fruit with news that there are deposits of one of the most sort after commodity in the world – oil. With this find, Kenya has upped its stakes as speculators and developed nations jostle for space in the exploration of this commodity.
Such news was once a fools-day joke back in the years when that would only be a dream, but this time round it was a reality announced by non other than the president of the republic of Kenya,Hon Mwai Kibaki. Turkana county in Northern Kenya is one of the poorest parts of the nation as more than 80% live in abject poverty. The region is so dry that news of oil being in the neighborhood does not in any way bring any smile on their faces. the only news they would care to turn their heads towards is availability of water for their animals.
The locals are yet to begin coming to terms with the fact that the new find has the possibility of turning around their fortunes for the better for generations to come. This news however, has irked the rich and corrupt speculators in Kenya as they scheme for ways to enrich themselves. The current hope of Kenyans is that some sober minded Leaders would emerge to help turn such fortunes into benefits for not only Turkana county but entire nation.
